Yes! It’s true! The mission of your Guardian Angel is to help YOU get to heaven. Psalm 91 clearly states that promise from God. On the Feast Day of the Guardian Angels, let us thank God for this incredible blessing of the angels. Call us at, 1-833-288-3986.
On Wednesday, Jerry and Debbie will once again welcome your heartfelt prayer intentions. We take them via telephone, text, email, website and social media. At the end of the show, we gather them all up and offer them to our Heavenly Father for Him to answer them according to His holy will.
Grudges can have a tremendous impact on our lives, psychologically, emotionally, even physically. When we can’t let go of something that someone else has done to us, we’re really the only ones who are hurt by that. On Wednesday, join Jerry and Debbie and let’s explore this idea of grudges and how to let them go.
Most Catholics will receive the great gift of Confirmation at some point during their lives. It’s an important part of developing and growing into the mature Christian you’re called to be. At Confirmation, we select a saint whose name we take for our own. Which saint did you choose, and how did you go about making that decision? That’s our topic for discussion on Tuesday.
Our monthly Unscripted is very popular with the Take 2 family. It is an open forum, where folks ask us anything, share from their hearts and comment on past topics. We even get callers that want to suggest ideas for future shows. It always turns out to be a great show, so please feel free to call in. 1-833-288-3986
The sin of pride goes all the way back to the creation of man and woman. The angels were tested as well, and those who would not serve God based that unfortunate decision on pride. There is a healthy form of pride, like being “proud” to be a Catholic. That is quite different from the dangerous type of pride that leads people to do all sorts of horrible things. Is there a rise in pridefulness in our world today? Share your thoughts and insights on Thursday’s broadcast.
Lulu sent in St. Teresa of Calcutta’s ways of staying humble:
Speak as little as possible about yourself.
Keep busy with your own affairs and not those of others.
Avoid curiosity (though I don’t think that she is referring to learning, here)
Do not interfere in the affairs of others.
Accept small irritations with good humor.
Do not dwell on the faults of others.
Accept censures even if unmerited.
Give in to the will of others.
Accept insults and injuries.
Accept contempt, being forgotten and disregarded.
Be courteous and delicate even when provoked by someone.
Wednesday is the Feast of St. Padre Pio. We are dedicating the entire broadcast to this incredible saint. There are many interesting facts about Padre Pio that you may not be aware of. Let’s share everything we know about this amazing saint and see if we learn something new about him. 1-833-288-3986
It’s the number one prayer intention that we receive on the program – our loved ones who have left or stopped practicing the Catholic faith. It breaks your heart, and you can begin to worry about their eternal destiny. But, God is in control, and He knows just what it will take to bring our loved ones back to the fold. On Tuesday, we’re going to talk about this, and try to unpack the things we can do, and what God can – and will – do.
Monday’s show is always one of our most popular monthly offerings. If you have an urgent prayer intention that you would like the Take 2 Family to join you in praying for, be sure to call and let us know what it is. You can also share them with us on Facebook, Twitter and email.
