It can be very helpful to get advice from other people. But, sometimes that advice ends up being bad. On Thursday, Jerry and Debbie want to hear what’s the worst advice you’ve ever been given – and why. We look forward to your participation in the show.

This is for Debbie. She commented on her “Alexa” device. In our house we have “ Google Home”. It works well, especially with all EWTN programs. This is just FYI. Thanks! From K.N.

Also, my comments on the gentleman who called about vaccinations, I learned recently that getting vaccinated is an act of charity.

Hi Jerry and Debbie,
There wasn’t time for my call, but the worst advice I have ever received was to “Interpret the Bible however I wanted and that there were no wrong answers”.
This was when I was training to be a bible study leader for High school and Middle school girls in a protestant church. Ultimately, I knew this was wrong, but I thought if the leaders of my church were telling me this, what were they teaching me? I left my church and didn’t go back to church until 6 years later and I was taken to the Catholic church, by my boyfriend (now husband) and his family. I became Catholic the next year after RCIA and a lot of my own studying. So, I guess the worst advice showed me what I was actually looking for and led me to the Catholic church.
Thanks for your time!
