Life in 10, 20 or 30 years.

where_in_10_t2

We have no guarantee of years on this earth.  Our future is not for us to predict.  If God wills for us to remain on this earth for 10, 20 or 30 more years,  then where do you think you’ll be?  What do you envision for yourself in the future?  A new career, a vocation, a hobby, volunteer service, or maybe you hope for more time to vacation.  Share with us where you see yourself in 10, 20, 30 years or more!  It is ok to dream big and Take 2 with Jerry and Debbie is a great way to have those conversations.  1-800-585-9396.

Our Strengths Are Gifts From God

list_strengths_t2

God has gifted each and every one of us with unique strengths.  These qualities belong solely to us but were designed to be used to build up the body of Christ.  With your  participation, on Wednesday’s show, we will discuss how to use strength in character to grow in holiness, and to be an example for others to grow in faith as well.  This won’t be a time to boast, but rather  an opportunity to give all glory and praise to God.  Call in at 1-800-585-9396.

Friends vs Family

family-friends-t2 .jpg

You have heard it said, “You can pick your friends, but you can’t pick your family.” How true this is!  Many times our friends are more like “family” to us than our own birth family.  Friends seem so easy to love.  Friends are fun to be around.  While family sometimes can be difficult , challenging and even downright annoying.  But maybe that is the way God designed it.  The family can be a wonderful place to grow in holiness.  We can practice the virtues right in the domestic church, our family.  Let’s have a candid conversation about family versus friends.  Call in to Take 2 with Jerry and Debbie at 1-800-585-9396.

Are You Caring For Someone With A Debilitating Illness?

So many people today are providing care for a parent, grandparent or other loved one who is struggling with a disease like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, etc. It can be very difficult, both for the person with the illness and those who are caring for them. If you’re caring for such a person, call and share your story on Wednesday with Jerry and Debbie and the world. Your experience could have a tremendous impact on someone in the same situation.

What’s Your Preferred Form of Discernment?

Life is full of important decisions. Vocational choices, which job to take, how to raise your children and many others. Some things require more discernment than others. You wouldn’t pray to seek God’s will about whether to have a cheeseburger or a chicken sandwich for lunch. But the big things should always be taken to prayer. How do you prefer to ask God to know His will? Peace in your heart? Others suggesting you follow a certain path? Your dreams? Reading a Bible passage? Call with your take for Jerry and Debbie on Monday!
