Addiction can damage lives and ruin families. It often costs people their very lives. Why are addictions so powerful? Why are they often so difficult to overcome? If you or someone one you love struggles with an addiction, let’s talk Wednesday about how we can all help. There are few – if any – people whose lives have not been touched by addiction in some way. We’re going to look at ways to help, and rays of hope. Please join us, and make a difference in other people’s lives.

We know that domestic violence is on the rise, especially during this pandemic. What can we do to bring peace, love and security back into our homes? Share with us your understanding, experience and thoughts about the many forms of domestic violence. This is a very serious issue and one we should all be concerned about as Catholic Christians. 1-833-288-3986 – National Domestic Violence Hotline 1(800) 799-7233 or thehotline.org

This world is pretty chaotic right now and we all need friends to lean on. Who is that special someone in your life that keeps you balanced and uplifted so that you can get through the tough times. On Friday, Jerry and Debbie hope to hear from you with your personal experience of the importance and power of the Sacrament of Confession. It’s a thoroughly Biblical and historical reality in the Church, but it’s often under-appreciated, if not neglected entirely. Let’s drill deeply into this topic and come away with a better understanding and gratitude for the beauty and majesty of sacramental confession.

As is often the case with deep subjects like suicide, our Wednesday show was packed with callers wishing to share their experiences – including several who at one time attempted suicide themselves. If you were one of the wonderful souls on the line at the end of the show, we’re producing a part two on Thursday, so you can tell Ryan to put you at the head of the list of callers. We know it’s going to be yet another impactful show. Let’s all be praying between now and then, that the Holy Spirit will again move powerfully in our midst.

Suicide is never a pleasant topic. It seems to have been on the increase in recent years. Add the COVID-19 pandemic and so many other issues that are troubling the world, and you’ve got a perfect storm of circumstances that have brought the matter of suicide to our national and global consciousness. On Wednesday, please weigh in on this tragic reality, which is touching more and more people’s lives every day.
