The season of Lent officially begins tomorrow with Ash Wednesday. It is a day of fasting and abstinence. Lent can and should be a time to refocus, repent, and renew our spiritual life. On Thursday, we’ll discuss the all-too-prevalent phenomenon of couples trying – but not succeeding – to bear children. This can create unspeakable heartache for husbands and wives, who so desperately desire to raise their own children. Many will eventually turn to adoption, while others may go their entire married lives without having any children at all. Of course, the horrible tragedy is the social and cultural juxtaposition of these loving individuals with those who choose to abort the greatest gift they will ever be given. This show promises to be very impactful, and, quite likely, emotional. Don’t miss it.

It’s what’s known as the “silent treatment.” Someone you’re close to, in many cases even immediate family members, shun you and simply refuse to talk to you or have any interaction with you. Sometimes you’re left wondering what you did or said to cause that to happen. Maybe you know what that is, but don’t see to be able to resolve the situation or be reconciled to the other person due to them not talking to you. This can be one of the harshest and cruelest manners in which others treat us. Let’s talk about this on Wednesday’s show.
