Trust is a big thing.  We all have friends we think we can trust with our deepest darkest secrets, but can we?  Maybe friendship is not meant for that. Sometimes people remain friends because they have shared very personal secrets and now they feel beholden to that person because of it. There is a strong human need to be accepted, understood and loved. When we have a friend that we feel comfortable with, we care about and we think we can trust, we may give in to this urge and share deeply.  That is when the true friendship is revealed.
