We all know people who want so badly to be “religious,” but something keeps them from embracing a formal faith or Church affiliation. You can see their longing in the fact that they self-identify as “spiritual,” but not “religious.” They may refer to “God” in some abstract, cryptic way. Perhaps you once were one of those who resisted religion, but always felt a sense of spirituality in your life. If so, what changed for you? Was it something a family member or friend shared with you? Maybe it was a real encounter with the living God. Share your take on this topic on Wednesday.
