OK, it’s time to get real on Take 2 With Jerry and Debbie. On Monday, we want your takes – and honesty – about whether you’ve ever taken time off from work for any reason (including calling in sick) to watch NCAA Tournament basketball games (or other sporting events). Statistics show that “lost productivity” in the workforce during March Madness costs corporations close to $2 billion annually. At the same time, some advocates are encouraging those same businesses to put the games on TV in the office, so that people can still work while keeping one eye on the scores. Good idea? Bad idea? At the heart of this question is what we make a priority in our lives. Make no mistake, the NCAA and its marketing geniuses have created a “product” that virtually everyone loves this time of year, including those who aren’t necessarily avid hoops fans. Join us Monday at Noon and Midnight ET.
