In the old days, families would take their aging parents in to live with them. This is not the case today. In fact, assisted living centers are literally popping up all over the country. It is a need but it is also a huge money maker. Let’s face it, no one will care for your aging mom or dad like you can. But work, family, geography may prohibit the ability to do so. Therefore we rely on strangers, the society, or even the government to take care of our elderly. How do you think we are doing? Are we treating our elderly with dignity and respect or are we just warehousing them until they pass. This topic is a tough one but let’s tackle it together. In addition to talking about the elderly, let’s also honor all the great caregivers, nurses and assistants that truly have a heart for this ministry. 1-833-288-3986.
