When you are at your lowest thats when we can easily yield to God’s call as we need that hope restoration in life and its only through God that we get that. When we are our lowest, and our thoughts are occupied with worry, it shows where our focus is and it is upon us to shift the focus to God and in doing that accept that it is difficult to fully focus on Him owing to our current predicaments,

    Hi Jerry and Debbie

Sorry I’m late in responding to this. When I was 16-17 years old I thought I had wanted to be a religious. I spoke to a nun I was friendly with at my parish. She gave me the best advice. She looked at me and said: “Linda, religious life is not so you can run away from life. Give yourself a chance” looking back all these years later I see she was so right! I realize now that God had a totally different plan for my life
