Laughter is a huge part of living. We read in John 11:35 that “Jesus wept.” Being fully human (as well as fully divine), we have to assume that he also laughed. There was a young man shopping and noticed that a sweet old lady was watching him. She walked up to him and said, “I’m sorry for staring at you but you look so much like my son who just passed away, will you do me a favor”? He said, “If I can”. When I leave the store will you yell out, “Good Bye Mom”. He then said, “I will do that”. So he started to check out but the sweet little old lady jumped in front of him and he smiled at her. So as she was leaving, he yelled out, “Good Bye Mom” and she turned and had the biggest smiled. Then the clerk handed him the bill and it well over $100.00 dollars. He said to the clerk I think you made a mistake, I only bought a few things. The clerk told him the his mother said you will pay for her groceries also.
