America has seen many periods of civil unrest. Perhaps none more violent and destructive than what we’ve seen over the last year or more. It hasn’t impacted everyone equally, but it has left its mark on many of us. On Wednesday, let’s have a conversation about how close the unrest has come to where you live, and how it has impacted you.

I live several miles from Downtown Denver; last summer Black Lives Matter started riots downtown. It was scary. The vandalism was awful, they did so much damage. Many were arrested but bailed out the following day. Police showed bravery, but sadly, they were treated poorly. Good people voluntarily cleaned the streets. This went on for weeks as well as all over the USA. The media showed these riots, including some of downtown Denver, but failed to show our Cathedral being damaged. It was a very frightening time. If there was any good that came from these terrible times, it is that people turned to God in prayer and HE answered. God help us.
