Jesus Himself tells us that if we don’t pick up our cross and follow Him each day, we cannot be His disciples. The crosses in our lives mean nothing if they don’t mean suffering in some manner. There are times when the weight of the cross we bear seems overwhelming. Do you feel that way? Have you ever felt that way? Let’s talk about it on Monday.

Jesus ascended to the right hand of the Father, He promised us that we would not be alone and that he would be with us all days, even to the end of time. Jesus goes to the Father to intercede for us and to prepare a place for us.
Jesus, you promised that YOUR POWER would work in us if we BELIEVED. “You will do greater things than these because I go to the Father.” It is precisely because you are at the right hand of the Father that we experience your presence and power in our lives.
