My name is Truth Anne Camina which means Truth walks or travels. I was named for my mother Truth Veronica and my grandmother Ann Veronica. (My confirmation name is Veronica.) I didn’t know that Truth was my name until a teacher told me when I was about 8 years old. My nickname was Nan. Since college I have always gone by Truth except to family who still call me Nan. Most people tell me they will remember my name and then they call me Faith or Hope the next time they see. I love my name. It holds me to a higher standard.
