Please Pray for Father John Ulm. Uncle Johnny contracted flesh eating bacteria 3 weeks ago. He has had his leg amputated. He has a long way to go. Please Pray for his healing – of body & mind – especially that God bring peace to his thoughts as he continues on his journey.

I had called a few months ago to pray for my brother Paul who was dying and was away from the church. Gerry recommended asking a priest to come and visit. Paul’s daughter tried in the local catholic church, but they would not come. I am still angry and disappointed. I don’t think Pope Francis would have acted that way. Luckily the protestant firemen chaplain visited Paul often and led him to accept Jesus in his life and to ask for forgiveness of his sins. I am grateful for that.
Also on the subject of marriage, please pray for my son John and daughter-in-law Karen that they will work on returning closeness to their marriage. Marriage is not easy but it is so important in this broken world.
