A listener named Ron e-mailed suggesting we do a show on the various, different and creative penances given by some priests and received by our listeners. We’re all pretty well acquainted with the penances that involve saying a few prayers or performing a work of mercy. But every now and then, a priest will catch us off guard with a penance that may be unlike one we’ve ever received before. Obviously, we don’t want to get into the details of anyone’s confessions.
