In the Church there are many people who are not able to receive the Eucharist for a variety of reasons. This is undoubtedly a painful reality for those who are barred from receiving due to marital complications or other issues. We want to hear from those who attend Mass but do not receive Communion because of what they perceive as barriers. It just may be that some people are abstaining when they don’t have to. For those who realize there is a legitimate reason for not receiving Communion, let’s have a conversation about it. Maybe a way can be found to clear the path to join in the full Eucharistic celebration of the Church. That’s Tuesday’s discussion with Jerry and Debbie.
