Almost all of us can recall that special teacher that left a positive impact in our lives. Saturday’s LIVE broadcast is the perfect show for you to honor that special person in your life. Some teachers, coaches, scout leaders have literally changed the future of young lives just by their devotion to those that they lead. An encouraging comment, a show of concern may be just what a student needs to feel empowered to explore their God-given gifts and talents. Teachers are invaluable and this show will focus on their important role in the formation of our youth. Call 1-800-585-9396 to be on the show.

There are a number. I start with Sr Paul who taught us The Our Father, Hail Mary & Glory be to the Father at low infants school (1960) Naas, Co Kildare, Ireland. Mother Theresa taught us hymns in our next year “Hail Queen of Haven & Soul of My Saviour. We received Our First Holy Communion on St Patrick’s Day March 17th 1961. Richard Donohue unfortuniately had been killed in an automobile incident and our class of 48 at the alter rails was depleted by one. Please include him in your prayers. In later years at age 12 Brother Hannon taught us the Gregorian Chant which we sang at High Mass. When I left school at age 17 I remember some outstanding teachers who taught us Commerce, Chemistry & Shakespeare as well as Gerald Manly Hopkins.
