There are many shocking things that affect us in a deeply emotional way — and this is normal. Regarding death, there are about 1/4 million deaths in the world every day, from many causes. This show was aired 1/10/17. 1/9/17 was the 58th anniversary of my father’s death, and I still feel the void in my life and the pain that I felt when I had to deal with this at age 9-1/2. There is no such thing as “getting over” the death of others who are significant to us. But, as scripture tells us, all of our days are numbered, whether they be many or few. God has given us knowledge of this so that we can make the most of every day we have. And, we have the assurance of our faith in God and the certain hope of the resurrection, when we are in Christ.
