Balance is critical to living a healthy life. Self-discipline, hard work, attending to one’s responsibilities, etc. But part of that balance can certainly include treating ourselves to an occasional “luxury.” Things like a massage, a manicure, a spa treatment, an upgrade of our favorite gadget before it breaks down, even a nice vacation. How do you balance these things in your life? Do you abstain from doing anything “nice” for yourself out of fear that you will be indulging too much?
