Monday’s show about priests was terrific. Three priests called to share what they love about being ordained and ministering to God’s people. And several laypeople shared their love for the priesthood. On Tuesday, we switch to inviting calls from religious brothers and sisters about their vocations. Help us spread the word so that we hear from many of them!

I was taught by the Sisters of Charity and Sisters of St. Joseph through 8th grade and then by Jesuit priests through 12th grade. In 6th grade Sr. Leon used to stop class whenever an ambulance passed the school with its sirens going, and the class would pray, “Jesus, Mary, and Joseph be with them on their way.” At age 54 I still say that pray every time I hear an ambulance with its sirens blaring.
