For Women: What is your definition of beauty?

The guys were fabulous on Thursday at calling in and sharing their definition of strength.  They showed up strong!  Gals, it’s your turn to flood the phone lines with the definition of real Christian beauty.  The world tells us one thing, airbrushing and all.  Now it is time for us to tell the world, the truth!  Beauty is many things and we must share that with our youth so that they are not misled by today’s culture.  Ladies, call in at: 1-800-585-9396.

He is Risen! Alleluia!!!

John 3:16  For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.  Christ conquered sin and death!  By his resurrection we are set free and given the gift of eternity.  The Resurrection of Jesus affects our past, present and future.  Easter Monday’s Take 2 with Jerry and Debbie will be all about how we live as children of the resurrection.  Our past is wiped clean by the blood of Jesus.  Every moment of every day the Risen Christ dwells within us.  As for the future, because of God’s gift to us, we can look forward to our own resurrection in Christ Jesus!  Let’s talk about how our lives honor the resurrection in who we are, what we do, and what we believe.  Should make for a great conversation.  Call in and share at 1-800-585-9396.

“I am going to be a Catholic!”

Here is the article from the National Catholic Register on the Latin Mass that I promised to post after today’s show.  An interesting perspective to consider:

Exciting time in the Church, when so many come into full communion in the Faith.  Tears of joy are abundant at the Easter Vigil Service, when loved ones come home to the family, the Church.  Tom Peterson, Founder of Catholics Come Home will join us at the beginning of the show to share the encouraging statistics of increasing numbers to the Faith.  Share your journey to the Catholic Church.  What or who inspired you on your faith walk may be just what another needs to go deeper in discernment about the Catholic Church.  Call in at-1-800-585-9396.

No more meetings! Please…

no-meetings-L

Can you relate to this photo?  Maybe you see yourself in this picture.  Do you cringe when you hear the words, We need to call a meeting?  Life may feel like one never ending meeting.  Are meetings time well spent?  Or are they a waste of time that provokes negative emotions in us and perhaps can lead us to sin.  It is sometimes hard to be charitable when a meeting feels like it will never end.  Share with us your take on this subject.  Do we need to do away with so many meetings or maybe we need to approach meetings with a different mindset.   We can’t wait to hear your wisdom on this topic.  So call in at 1-800-585-9396.
