I found my purpose and it is…

purpose-t2.jpg

We are NOT here by accident.  We are here for a reason and a purpose.  Rick Warren’s  The Purpose Driven Life is not a bestseller because it is entertaining.  It is exceedingly popular because people in general are seeking the true meaning of life.  Have you found your purpose and are you willing to share it with us?  If so, call in to 1-800-585-9396.  Share your story of growth and understanding with us.  What you impart to us, may serve us well with our quest to find the purpose of life.  Also, it is one thing to find the purpose, it is another to live on purpose.  Let’s explore this more on Monday’s Take 2 with Jerry and Debbie.     See you soon!

Working in an Unhealthy Environment

Many of us spend the majority of our waking hours at work, outside of the house.  Our jobs sometimes become a “home away from home.”  Yet, so many workplaces are not welcoming or supportive of our Christianity.  In fact, some jobs can be downright oppressive especially in regards to our Faith.  If you are in a spiritually unhealthy work environment, share with us how you maintain your faith through it all.  Or maybe you have chosen to step away from such a destructive atmosphere and God showed you a better path to holiness.  Share with us your story by calling 1-800-585-9396

The Three Theological Virtues

virtues-t2 (1).jpg

Faith, hope and charity are the foundation of Christian moral behavior.  The three theological virtues are  given to us by God in order for us to act as appropriate children of God and ultimately merit eternal life.  Virtues are like habits.  They need to practiced in order to become permanent in our lives.  Thursday, on Take 2 with Jerry and Debbie, we will discuss, with your help, these virtues and how we can incorporate them into our daily lives.  This will be an important discussion because souls will be listening and absorbing what is being shared.  Don’t hold back and sit this one out.  Join in by calling, 1-800-585-9396.

You are never alone!

alone

Jesus is always with us.  Our Blessed Mother is praying for us. The saints are standing by ready to intercede for us.  Plus, our great God gave each of us our own personal companion (Psalm 91) to guard us and guide us all the days of our lives.  So, we are never alone, even though sometimes we feel abandoned.  Let’s talk about how we can come to the realization that Heaven is rooting for us and is very active in our lives.  Call in at 1-800-585-9396.

Family Catechesis

Fam-catechesis

“The family that prayers together stays together.”  Faith formation in the family, enables each member to grow spiritually within a safe environment.  The family unit is the perfect setting to explore the tenets of the Faith and to foster a rich prayer life.  So many times families abdicate their role as catechists and depend on the church’s religious education program to fulfill all their needs.  This is a missed opportunity.  The religious education programs are designed to complement what the parents or families are already practicing by way of religious formation.  Not the other way around.  Share your wisdom on this very important topic by calling, 1-800-585-9396.

Pokémon Stop!

pika-pika-matt-t2

The Pokémon Craze is sweeping the nation.  On Take 2, we will talk about this phenomenon.  Is Pokémon Go a good thing for people, or is it harmful?  We have heard of accidents already, even a death.  But maybe, just maybe, Pokémon is an instrument for evangelization.  Remember, on Take 2 with Jerry and Debbie, we take a fresh look, a new look at topics that we are all exposed to.  Join the conversation by calling 1-800-585-9396.

It’s Back to School!

bus-t2.jpg

New clothes, new supplies, even a new backpack reminds us that with every new school year there is a fresh start and new beginnings.  These amazing moments in life can bring forth a host of blessings and spiritual growth. Yet, when we are caught up in the hustle and bustle of getting prepared for the school year, we may just miss these spiritual gems that are awaiting us.  Let’s talk about how back to school time in the families can help us on our path to holiness.  Wow! That could be a stretch, or is it?  Your turn to share by calling in at: 1-800-585-9396.

A Family Divided

family-torn-t2

It is all too common these days to hear of rifts in a family.  Whether the division is in the immediate or extended family, the result is the same.  It is painful on many levels.  Family is supposed to be closely united, with harmonious relations, topped off with peace and joy. Today, that is just not the case.  So how do we cope with this reality in the family?  Do we try to be an instrument of change?  Or do we run away to protect ourselves?  As Catholic Christians, how are we to respond to a family torn apart?  Share your experience with this type of situation within the family.  Call in early at 1-800-585-9396.
