The Bible has many seeming contradictions within its pages. For example, the four Gospels give four differing accounts as to what was written on the sign that hung on the cross. What did they give Christ to drink on the cross? Was it vinegar or wine with myrrh ?  What was the color of the robe placed on Jesus during his trial?
