The Challenges and Blessings of Blended Families

Thank you both for your concern for all. You speak the truth with love even though that isn’t always an easy thing to do. Listening to today’s show about blended families, having unconditional love and living the Golden Rule, the children of these families came to mind. Some children, not all, witnessed their parent’s first marriages ending in divorce because of lack of unconditional love, therefore they don’t know how to love unconditionally or live out the Golden Rule when forced to live in blended families.
I was very saddened with the recent Supreme Court ruling redefining marriage. As Christians, if we look deep down inside, we will see that we redefined marriage before the Supreme Court did by the way we live our lives. We have premarital sex, use birth control, marry, divorce, remarry and force our children into blended families.
With our Hope placed in God’s Graces and the Wisdom of His Church we can repent and change and do His Will in our lives.
