Most of us spend quite a bit of time in the car. Do you prefer to drive in silence? Maybe you like to listen to music. Then there are those that use this commute time to pray. A rosary perhaps or even spontaneous prayer in the privacy of your own vehicle. Some folks have even said that praying makes them better drivers. Others have resorted to prayer so that they can calm their frustrations on the road. This is an interesting topic and with your phone call we can get a glimpse into your car regime. 1-833-288-3986.

Hi Jerry and Debbie. I used to call my now husband every morning to talk to him on my way to work (about 30 min). Now I am trying to do better and say a rosary or prayers and listen to catholic radio and Christian music vs the secular radio. This now hour commute one way gives me time to create a personal relationship with God, like I had done with my husband.

I use the Lighthouse CD’s for our Catholics Returning Home program at our parish. I keep a supply of my most special ones to pass on to the attendees and they love being able to take them and even pass them on. I always pray rosaries when going to work and the Divine chaplet when going home. If it’s not Catholic radio, it’s prayer and CD’s…and I keep a crucifix right on my dashboard and my travel angel and palm cross on the visor!
