Cardinal Francis George prophesied that he would die in bed (which he did), his successor would die in prison, and his successor’s successor would die a martyr in the public square. We’re seeing countless Christians losing their lives for the faith around the world. What’s coming in the United States and other geographic regions where blood being shed for the faith is not as common? Hebrews 12:4 says, “In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.” Too often, we think that “martyrs” are those who lived centuries ago, or who are killed for their faith “over there” (i.e. in far away countries). Are we on the verge of a new era of martyrdom even on American soil? Or has the world experienced the worst of this scourge? Share your take with Jerry and Debbie on Monday.

Debbie and Jerry,
Thank you for your show today on Latin. You can pray the rosary in Latin with Pope John Paul II on the Laudate App. It is awesome because you can also see the words so it also teaches how to pronounce it and write Latin.
